About your therapist:

Hello, my name is Eli. I have a background in physical therapy - I graduated cum laude with an AAS in Physical Therapy from Oakton College in 2013 - and after a year of PTA work earned an invitation to study under Ed Flaherty, DPT, CMT, for a year-long apprenticeship focused on advanced manual techniques, biomechanics, and exercise therapies. In 2015 I earned my Massage and Eastern Bodywork certification from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and began practicing exclusively as a massage and bodywork therapist.

Outside of massage therapy I love training martial arts and athletics and over the past 15 years have become a dedicated practitioner of meditation, qigong, stretching and strengthening. These practices have taught me much about my body and the bodies of my clients, and I use that knowledge to inform my massage work.

While my training and education has tended towards the biomechanical, over the years - and with study of Eastern medicine and philosophy - my bodywork practice has deepened and become more intuitive. I specialize in injury recovery and dysfunction, but I also understand that what limits your body’s wellbeing can go much deeper than muscles and tendons. I promise to give you the best of my knowledge, craft, and focus, and I want more than anything for you to have a healthy, positive, and healing experience while in my care.
